La marca de las dos cerezas abre nuevo espacio en Ibiza. Contaban ya con el buque insignia  y nave nodriza, es decir, la discoteca. Posteriormente se abrió el Hotel, el chiringuito Sa Punta. El año pasado, el Lío. Y en 2013, Destino Pachá Ibiza Resort. Además, de ropa, discos, bolsos,… El futuro puede ser la apertura de un café en la zona de La Marina. Existen comentarios pero este que suscribe no tiene confirmado si es una idea, un proyecto o puede ser realidad este año.  El grupo Pachá sigue apostando por esta isla y por dar calidad a sus seguidores. Por eso para muchos tener Ibiza como destino, es tenerlo también en Pachá.

Hace unos días nos invitaron a un grupo de periodistas a conocer el Destino, no el nuestro, sino el nuevo proyecto/realidad de Pachá. Por un lado, un grupo de periodistas y webmasters, instalados  en la isla y que buscan la difusión entre el público de habla inglesa. Por otro lado, una pequeña representación de medios locales y nacionales.

Y un poco más allá, tratándolo como un VIP que es y además, se lo merece, Carlos Martorell que almorzaba con uno de los hijos de Ricardo Urgell.
Últimamente, llego con tiempo de sobra a las convocatorias, lo cual debe de fastidiar a los organizadores que están con los retoques finales y se ven sorprendidos. Por mucho que nos moleste a los periodistas, piensan que vamos a fisgar con la intención de fijarnos más en fallos que en  aciertos.

Pero Josep Antoni Escandell, director de “El Hotel” y ahora, también, del Destino, me recibió encantador en el lobby del nuevo alojamiento. No puso cara de que le importunarse mi llegada pero sí, después de una pequeña conversación, fue requerido por diversos trabajadores del hotel. Lo de hacer doblete en el sector de la hotelería y del lujo debe ser agotador.

Me quedé sentado en ese hall abierto, espacioso, lleno de sofás comodísimos y de cortinajes etéreos que consiguen dar cierta intimidad a cada una de las zonas de descanso. Al mismo tiempo, se puede observar esa piscina que es la “joya” de la corona de las zonas públicas.

El Resort está construido en una parcela de 50.000 metros cuadrados llena de vegetación en Cap Martinet, a cinco minutos del puerto de Ibiza y con unas vistas impresionantes sobre el mar y “Dalt Vila”.

Detrás de la ciudad amurallada se llega a ver parte de Platja d´en Bossa.  Una línea recta imaginaria que divide dos zonas con nuevos proyectos turísticos. La familia Urgell invierte en la zona Este de la isla, municipios de Ibiza y Santa Eulalia, mientras que a los Matutes les gusta más el Sur, San José.

Poco a poco fueron llegando el resto de invitados e iniciamos el recorrido por el Resort.

No nos llevaron a ver las habitaciones y las suites que, si es de serles sinceros, me apetecía mucho comprobar cómo están decoradas. Fue un paseo por las zonas comunes. Donde vimos esa playa artificial que ocupa el núcleo principal del complejo.

Camas balinesas, tumbonas de último diseño, varias barras donde te preparan unos cocteles y combinados fantásticos, e incluso un carrito que ofrece a los clientes la posibilidad de degustar caviar mientras se tuestan al sol y ven lo barcos cruzar a Formentera.

Nos mostraron una sala de “hot yoga”. Practica ésta que se ha puesto de moda entre celebrities y deportistas. Sesiones de yoga en un habitáculo a 40 grados que ayuda a perder peso, tonificar y limpiar toxinas, lograr mayor elasticidad y mejora el sistema nervioso, entre otros beneficios. Eso sí, la transpiración la tienen asegurada. Y de allí pasamos a la zona Wellness donde los clientes podrán disfrutar de tratamientos spa relajantes.

Enfrente de este espacio se encuentra el Nightclub. El Ying y el Yang. El cuidado del cuerpo y la diversión. Esta sala tiene espacio para unos 150 invitados que serán recibidos por las cerezas del grupo convertidas en calaveras. Una decoración sorprendente y un equipo de música fantástico para disfrutar de sesiones de los dj ´s residentes o invitados de Pachá.

Una vez terminado el “tour” nos llevaron a una de las terrazas donde realizan servicio de restaurante, con  capacidad para 250 comensales. La cocina es una fusión de sabores centroamericanos, japoneses y mediterráneos. Los platos se preparan con ingredientes locales y frescos de su propio huerto ecológico. Una muestra de esa fusión son unos “makis” de atún y de gamba roja ibicenca con un puntito de chili picantón, que probamos y estaban deliciosos.

Es cierto, que el nivel de la restauración es fantástico, pero viene siendo marca de la casa el cuidar sus espacios donde disfrutar de la gastronomía. Como es el caso, por ejemplo, del restaurante de la Discoteca que es de un gran nivel.

Desde esta líneas aviso de que pienso volver. Qué es un espacio maravilloso. Abierto a no clientes siempre que reserven. Un espacio nuevo, de calidad y cuidado con muchísimo gusto.

Fue una lástima que tanto Ricardo Urgell como su hijo que se encontraban en el Resort no se acercaran a que les agradeciéramos su invitación y pudiéramos felicitarles por esta nueva nave del grupo Pachá.

La inauguración oficial fue el  jueves 27 y contó con la actuación de Solomun, Droog, Climbersa, además de performances en vivo. Estas animaciones, también se podrán disfrutar todos los días a la caída del Sol. Una producción de Pachá inspirada en los espectáculos de “Le Preve” de las Vegas. Un espectáculo original y diferente.
